He performed Pretty U with other individual trainees (Company Evaluations), Clap (박수) for Group Evaluations, Twit for Position Evaluation, and Monday to Sunday for Concept Evaluation. He was eliminated at Rank 24. On July 29, 2019 it was announced that Hyeop signed under Woollim Entertainment and will be part of its future boy group.

However, he ranked 15 on the last episode not being able to make it to the debut lineup.
